Alexis White, Orthodontic Assistant

Alexis, or as she prefers...AJ, joined the Moroco team in January 2008. AJ brings with her over 10 years experience in the orthodontic field as a certified clinical assistant. AJ was born and raised in Florida and has a 16 month old baby boy who, like his mom, loves the outdoors. AJ, along with the family...including the dog, loves to spend her spare time at the pool, beach, and park.

Kristina Yang, Scheduling Coordinator

Kristina is a native Floridian born in Fort Lauderdale and raised throughout South Florida. She started in the orthodontic field in 1991 when she was just 16 years of age as an orthodontic assistant where she trained on the job while in high school. She received her Orthodontic Certification on March 1998 and her radiology certification in 2002. Kristina has lived in 10 different cities throughout Florida and finally decided to settle in the City of West Palm Beach, where she now lives with her husband Frank and two daughters Katherine and Kaylie. Kristina joined the Moroco team in April of 2002 as an orthodontic assistant. She then married her husband on March 1, 2004, where the entire Moroco team joined them on their special day. Kristina took off in January 2006 to stay home with their two daughters and was welcomed back to rejoin the Moroco team in 2009, now at the front desk. Kristina enjoys spending quality time with her family, scrapbooking, movies, sewing and lounging on the beach. A little trivia about Kristina is that she met her husband while working in an orthodontic office and Glenda was there!

LaRay Edwards, Patient Coordinator

LaRay was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Florida in 1984. After working in the restaurant industry for many years she decided to make a career change. Through her own orthodontic treatment she was able to experience the wonderful staff and exciting atmosphere in an Orthodontist office. She then decided to pursue a career in orthodontics. Gaining knowledge through hands-on experience from the doctor and through training seminars, she earned her Orthodontic Assistants and Radiology Certifications. After working for 9 years, she met Dr Moroco and joined her team in 1999 as an assistant and now her position has evolved into Patient Coordinator.

Roxana Castaneda, Orthodontic Assistant

Roxana Castaneda was born in Argentina and raised in Florida since she was 2 months old. She graduated from Atlantic High School in 2001 and attended Palm Beach Community College for her Associate’s Degree.  She has been with Dr. Moroco since October of 2000.  Roxana has been a certified Orthodontic Assisting certified in radiology since January 2005. Roxana loves to spend time with her family and friends and enjoys doing outdoor sports. She would love to one day own a house with acres to have horses.

Glenda Tobin, Office & Financial Coordinator

Glenda, a native Floridian, was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. Glenda began her career in the Orthodontic field when she graduated from Florida Junior College at Jacksonville in 1981 with a Certificate in Dental Assisting. She received her certification from the Dental Assisting National Board in both clinical assisting and radiology. She received her Expanded Duties Certificate from the State of Florida in Orthodontics in 1982. Glenda spent 14 years working as a clinical assistant, 13 years as Treatment Coordinator and Front Office Coordinator, and joined the Moroco team in May, 2004. Glenda married her husband, George, in 1986. They have three children and two grandchildren. You will find Glenda in much of her spare time at church where she is active in several ministries including music, preschool, and women’s ministries, to name a few. Glenda & George are avid boaters and enjoy spending time on the water.

Kimmy Westervelt, Orthodontic Assistant

Kimmy joined the Moroco team in February 2005 and after a brief relocation to Utah, settled right back into her spot in December of 2007. Kimmy, a Florida native, graduated from Boca High School in 2000 where she was a Bobcat cheerleader. After attending Palm Beach Community College she began her Orthodontic career in 2002 and received her Orthodontic Certification in 2006. Kimmy loves to spend time with her family, friends and her dog Harley. Being a Floridian, it seems natural that she loves the beach and all outside activities. Kimmy still utilizes her cheerleading skills by coaching and mentoring cheerleading squads across the Delray/Boca Raton area.

Patricia Novoa Ramirez, Records Technician

Patty Novoa joined the Moroco team in May of 2007. Patty was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to South Florida in 1999 with her son. He is now 15 years old, loves to play basketball and he keeps her very busy. In her spare time, Patty likes to spend time with her family and friends. She continues her education through classes at Palm Beach Community College for Child Care because she loves working with children. She speaks three languages: English, Spanish & French.

Amber Best, Orthodontic Assistant

Amber was born and raised in Lehi, Utah. Amber began her career in the Orthodontic field in 1998 working in Seattle and Salt Lake City. Amber moved to Florida and joined the Moroco team in 2003. She received her X-ray Certification in June 1999 and her Florida Orthodontic Assisting Certification in 2003. In her spare time she enjoys snowmobiling, snowboarding, water skiing, walking on the beach and spending time with family. Amber’s husband is completing his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Broward General Medical Center and they have been blessed with 2 daughters Ella, born March 2006 and Ava, born in December 2007.

Adrianne Hemsher, Orthodontic Assistant

Adrianne is a Florida native, born and raised in Delray Beach. Adrianne graduated from Atlantic High School in 2000 where she was a member of The Eagle-ettes Dance Drill team. Her Orthodontic career began shortly after graduation in 2000 and Adrianne received her Orthodontic Certification in 2002. She continued her dance career until age 20 when she relocated to New Bern, North Carolina. Adrianne’s husband was stationed in NC and served in the United States Marine Corps before relocating back home to Boynton . They were married in May, 2006 and are now the proud parents of son Luke who was born December, 2007.
